Roller Blinds

Installing roller blinds is easy! Before you begin, you'll need to check where the fixing brackets will be installed. If they'll be attached to a wooden or UPVC frame, we'd recommend a 3mm drill bit (for wood or HSS bit), if it's into the lintel (plaster or concrete), you'll need a 6mm masonry bit and 4 rawlpugs for each blind.

Before you start, make sure that the window is level using a spirit level. If it isn't you need to correct for this when you're hanging the blind. You'll also need to check whether the blind pull is fitted to the left or right hand side of the blind. Make sure you know which bracket goes to which side!

Mark the centre point of your window and measure half the length of the blind on either side. This will show you where to position the brackets. Position the first bracket either horizontally or vertically (depending on your preference) and mark the position where the screws will be fixed. Now drill the holes and attach the first bracket making sure you have the correct one (left or right hand side).

Now using the blind and a spirit level, accurately mark the position of the bracket for the other side. As before, drill the pilot holes and mount the bracket.

Finally, attach the blind to the brackets and slide the locking mount mount place. Easy!
